This guide will show an administrator how to add desired bookmarks that will be preconfigured on Corporate Intune joined devices through Microsoft Edge or Chrome.

Before we proceed with adding a bookmark be sure to not make any alterations to the toplevel_name section or any existing bookmarks.
Failure to do so will prevent the deployment of any of the listed bookmarks for the configuration profile.
Device Company Bookmarks Addition
- Navigate to the Configuration Profiles – Intune portal, locate and select the Security Essentials Browser Management configuration profile or an equivalent Browser Management configuration profile.
- Scroll down to Configuration Settings and select Edit.
- When adding a desired bookmark to either one of the desired browsers, begin by selecting the dropdown besides either the Google or Microsoft Edge Under the Google blade we will be looking for the configuration setting Managed Bookmarks (Device), for Microsoft Edge we will be looking for Configure Favorites (Device). Selecting the text field next to the setting will allow you to initiate the bookmark addition.
- Depending on the selected browser the structure of the addition will be different:
- Any additions made to Google will need to possess the following format:

- Any additions made to Microsoft Edge will need to possess the following format:

Make sure to add a comma (,) to the last entry in the list prior to adding another entry.

- Any additions made to Google will need to possess the following format:
- Once the necessary bookmark addition has been made, select Review + Save to proceed to the review section.
- From the Review section, you will be able to select the Settings dropdown to verify that the necessary browser bookmark additions are properly generating. Select Save to finalize the bookmark additions. Rule changes propagate in less than 24 hours.
