Check Device Health

Check Device Security Health

If you recently lost access to your Microsoft resources, it is likely that your device is missing some key security features! The best way to check if this has happened is by checking the security status of your device. If you find that you are still allowed access, you are all set. However, if you find the device is not allowed access, it’s not an issue; you can address these yourself to regain access.

This guide will accomplish the following:

  • Check Device Security Health

Checking Device Compliance Status

  1. Navigate to the Company Portal site, when opened you will see the Home section. We will want to select the three lines at the top right of the screen to expand the menu. From the pop-out we will want to locate and select the Devices tab to view the list of Intune joined devices that have been registered using our Microsoft credentials.
  2. From the generated list we will want to select the applicable device to verify if it is passing security policies requirements defined by management.
  3. Once inside the device entry, we will want to focus our attention on the Status section, here we will be able to determine if our device is passing or failing compliance and security policy enforcements which determines if we have access to resources tied to this device.
  4. If you see “Can access company resources”, you are all set. However, if you see “Can’t Access Company Resources”, follow the Fix Bad Device Health guide to regain access to your resources.
