Defender Vulnerability Management Remediation Creation

1. Navigate to the Recommendations – Microsoft Defender portal, this page shows all the recommendations for devices, including both configuration and software recommendations. Locate the specific recommendation you wish to create a remediation for.
   
2. Upon selecting a desired entry, a pop-up window will display all the details of the vulnerability, select the Request Remediation action.
   
3. Additional deployment options will be available such as the type of remediation options, date and priority assignments, and deployment notes. Select Next to proceed to the review section.
   
4. The summary page will allow you to see all configured settings for the request, if you detect a discrepancy at this stage make note of the section and select Back to go to the previous sections to make the necessary alterations before finalization. If everything checks out, select Submit to publish the submit the remediation request.
