      Defender Vulnerability Management Report

      This guide will show an administrator how to browse the recommended remediation items for vulnerabilities identified on MDE enrolled devices.

      Defender Vulnerability Reporting

      1. Navigate to the Security Recommendation – Microsoft Defender portal, this page shows all the recommendations for devices, including both configuration and software recommendations. To find application specific recommendations, select the Filter option.
      2. From the filter prompt we will want to locate the Remediation Type section followed by selecting Software Update, Software Upgrade, and Software Uninstall as our search criteria. Select Apply to continue.
      3. A list of recommendations that fit the specified criteria will be returned; remediation steps will vary depending on the criticality of the identified software.
