Device Compliance Reporting Work Instruction

This work instruction will allow an administrator to monitor errors generated by compliance policies on a registered Intune device.

This article is intended for employees of organizations that use Sittadel's security. Additionally, there are some actions that can only be accomplished by those with administrative privileges.

Procedure Scope: Administrators

Required Group Membership: Admin.DeviceCompliance

  1. Navigate to Devices – Intune, this will show an overview of all the device compliance statuses. Locate the device you are wishing to check the compliance on.
  2. When selected, navigate to Device Compliance. You will notice 2 policies: a built-in policy and a Security Essentials policy. The built-in policy will always pass, but both policies must be compliant in order for the device to be seen as compliance. Select the Security Essentials policy, which houses the requirements that we need to look for.
  3. Once inside the policy, the items which are causing failure will be denoted with the Not Complaint Make note of the security settings that are failing since remediation will need to be conducted on the device.

You're Finished!

You should have successfully notated any errors captured by Intune for non-compliant devices and began remediation steps for the effected devices. For any other problems or questions, reach out to us!
