This guide will allow administrators to set a desired timeframe that will apply an idle session lockout for registered corporate devices.

Device Sleep Timer Modification
- Navigate to Configuration Profiles – Intune, locate and select the Security Essentials Login Banner configuration profile.
- Once selected locate the Configuration Settings section and select Edit to begin the login banner modification process.
- Select the dropdown beside the Local Policies Security Options Under the blade we will be looking for the Interactive Logon Machine Inactivity Limit configuration setting.
- You will be able to supply the newly desired Idle Session Lockout threshold the unit of time associated with the value is in seconds, the threshold will be enforced on Intune Registered Windows Devices.
- Once the threshold has been set, select Review + Save to proceed to the summary page where you will verify that the threshold has been successfully changed.
- Locate the necessary configuration setting and verify that the new threshold value is appearing, if you detect a discrepancy select the Configuration Settings blade to go back to the previous section to make the necessary adjustments. If everything checks out, select Save to finalize the Idle Session Lockout modification process.
