Device Wipe Initiation
- Navigate to the All Devices – Intune portal, locate and select the desired device from the list.
- From the device Overview page, select the Wipe action, a prompt will generate asking if you are sure you want to follow through with restoring the device back to the default factory state, select Wipe to complete the wipe action initiation process. You can choose the Wipe device, but keep enrollment state and associated user account option if you want to wipe all MDM policies but keep the user accounts and data on the machine. If you do not select this option all user accounts, data, MDM policies, and settings are removed, and the machine is set to the operating systems default state and settings.
