Device Configuration Reporting
- Navigate to the Device Configuration Profile Status Report – Intune portal, locate and select the Generate Report button to return a list of all currently assigned device configuration profiles along with their statuses on scoped Intune joined devices. If you want more granularity with a specific OS Type, or a specific profile creation type based on the leveraged settings catalog usage, you can utilize the Filters located above the report generation action to make these classifications prior to execution.
- Once the Generate Report action has been carried out, you will now see data associated with the number of Successful, Error, or Conflict deployment types for each assigned configuration profile. From the generated list, you will be able to see the name for each configuration profile, the profile type associated with security control utilization, and the current number of devices that have either a Successful, Error, or Conflict deployment status per profile.
- From the Devices – Error or Devices – Conflict column, if either one of these categories has a number that is not zero, we will want to document the Profile Name that is having these issues for further troubleshooting.
