This guide will show an administrator how to create an exemption from desired accounts registering MFA credentials with your organization.

Entra ID Security MFA Registration Campaign Exception
- Navigate to the Registration campaign – Azure Active Directory portal, locate and select the Edit action.
- The Add users and groups action should now be available under the Excluded users and groups section, select the prompt to being the exception process.
- Upon selecting the Add users and groups action, a flyout will be generated where you will supply the name of the user in the provided search bar, make sure to select the User from the list. If done correctly they will be generated in the Selected Items section, finalize the addition by clicking Select.
- When the selection has been finalized you should see an incremental change in the # of Users, # of Groups prompt within the Excluded users and groups section, we will want to select the prompt to verify that the newly selected excepted entry is generating properly. Once the verification step has been completed, we will want to select Save to finalize the exception process.
