[Account](https://knowledge.sittadel.com/userops?hsLang=en#account) # Resetting your Phone MFA ## Lose access to an MFA method? It's easy to reset, and all you need is access to your phone! This guide will accomplish the following: - Mobile Device MFA Reset *Procedure Scope*: **Users** *Required Group Membership*: **N/A** ### **Mobile Device MFA Reset** 1. Make sure your phone already has a Microsoft Account connected, like Teams or Outlook. If you've ever sent a **Teams message** or **Outlook email**, you are good to go.  2. It'll ask for your password. It’ll then suggest setting up MFA again. You'll be guided to a page telling you about the** Microsoft Authenticator **app. You’ve already got this on your phone! They'll give you a code to punch in. Missed it? No worries, tap **I can't see the number** and they’ll show it again. Your computer will give you a virtual high-five with a success message. Finally, it will ask for a phone number to send you a one-time **text**. Pick a number you have access to every day, such as your personal cellphone or work cellphone. You'll get another virtual pat on the back with a success message. The last screen certifies that you've set up two security checks.
