SharePoint & OneDrive Sync File Type Block

This guide will allow administrators to specify a desired file type(s) they wish to prevent users from syncing over SharePoint and OneDrive.

SharePoint & OneDrive Sync File Type Block

1. Navigate to the SharePoint Admin Center (Which can be found by accessing the Admin portal, selecting All Apps, and finding the SharePoint Admin page). Once in the admin center, Select Settings | OneDrive Sync | Block Upload of Specific File Types. Input the file extension you wish to prevent OneDrive syncing with in the provided text field followed by selecting Save.
