      User Account Authentication Method Reset Work Instruction

      This work instruction will allow administrators to initiate an MFA reset for end users experiencing verification issues.

      This article is intended for employees of organizations that use Sittadel's security. Additionally, there are some actions that can only be accomplished by those with administrative privileges.

      Procedure Scope: Administrators

      Required Group Membership: Admin.UserAccount

      1. Navigate to Users – Azure Active Directory, locate the user whose MFA needs to be reset.
      2. Select the Authentication Methods tab, select Require Re-Register Multifactor Authentication.
      3. The user will now need to Re-register with Microsoft Authenticator upon next sign-in.
