User PIM Eligibility Addition Work Instruction

This work instruction will allow an administrator to utilize Privilege Identity Management Groups to distribute roles to users.

This article is intended for employees of organizations that use Sittadel's security. Additionally, there are some actions that can only be accomplished by those with administrative privileges.

This work instruction applies to organizations that have an Azure CMMC Deployment.

Procedure Scope: Administrators

Required Group Membership: Admin.UserRole

  1. Navigate to Groups – Azure Active Directory, locate the search box at the top and specify PIM Eligible for the group search result. Select the group you would like to add the user the ability to elevate into.
  2. To add a user as eligible for a PIM group, select Members followed by Add Members. Select the user who should be added for eligibility and click Select to finalize the addition.
  3. Upon being added, the user can now elevate into the assigned role from their PIM elevation portal.
